Blogging has a long-term impact on increasing both your website traffic and your brand.

WHY?  Multiple listings on major search engines and social media have a cumulative effect on building your audience and improving your reach.

 

This WordPress training class is for those interested in managing or creating content on WordPress sites. This WordPress course is helpful for those with no previous WordPress training, as it provides a solid foundation and best-practices for using and maintaining a Wordpress site. 

This class starts with the essentials of a blogging and why you should be using Wordpress? It covers blogging basics including, adding text, images and multimedia, as well as how to format basic content. Also included are easy-to-follow definitions and mechanics for: 

  • pages
  • posts
  • media
  • hyperlinks

In addition, the essentials of WordPress themes (AKA "Templates") are covered to make your website unique.  We'll also cover "must have"  plug-ins to make your Wordpress site successful.

Finally, we'll include a summary of social media and blogging tips to aid in getting an audience to your website.
